Robot dialogue

Hey Eric,

Could you send me some lines with what the robots have to say? I figured that they would have human speak and sound either similar to C3P0 hollow and slightly electronic (without the english accent) or the bar robot from the Fifth Element, which is a bit more speech synthesis-like?

Yeah, I will need to work on that... I am thinking some basic ideas like:

May I help you?
Are you looking for directions?

We will need to speak with some of the AI people and see what they are thinking...for now just get something taht you think sounds cool and we can always add words later . Hope this helps

Hey Eric,

I have uploaded two samples that you can comment one. The first is more speech synthesis-like (more electronic/robot like) and the second uses a different technique and has more of a human sounding voice.

I like them both:) I also would like non human words like R2d2 , but not as silly;)
Also, I am thinking to try and make the voice more "rounded off" feeling... maybe slower more methodical, passive slower? It may make it more creepy, but I am thinking softer as well...just some feedback

I couldn't make it into the University today, due to feeling ill, but I plan to get in by the end of the week. We can have a brief chat then as well.

I have made some subfolders in my working folder, before it became to cluttered. I have uploaded some voice lines for the helper, seller and cleaner robots. They can be found in their respective folders. Most of the lines are in two versions. One that sounds more "robotic" and one, which is more fluid.
