Is there a rig ready to be used for keyframe animation?

I would like to start trying out some things from the list of movements the main character should have. Is there any chance of getting a rigged character that can be used for animating, and then applying those animation to the final character when ready?

I know that most of those basic movements will be recorded with motion capture but it would still be nice to have this as a backup. So my point is, I don't want to start animating a character that has a different rig than the main character because then those animations could not be applied if neeeded.

Good question, we are still working out the pipeline rig the last I knew...Anybody have anything to add?

I say we have another meeting after class tomorrow(whoever can make it) and try and get this and other questions pinned down)

Dann, she is up on the FTP in obj files just import one at a time into MAYA into layers etc, however...let me know how it goes. Also,are you putting together a rig?
